Six cheese lasagna

Ingredients :

  • 1 ground beef
  • 1 Italian sausage
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 24 oz jar meatless spaghetti sauce
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c grated Romano Asiago cheese blend
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 c 4% cottage cheese
  • 8 oven-ready lasagna noodles (Barilla)
  • 4 c shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices provolone cheese cut in quarters

Directions :

Brown beef and sausage with Italian seasoning, drain, add spaghetti sauce.
In large bowl combine eggs, ricotta, Parmesan, Romano Asiago cheese and cottage cheese.

Spread 1 1/2 c sauce meat mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. Add layer of 4 noodles.
Spread 1 1/2 c sauce meat mixture to cover noodles. Sprinkle with 2 c mozzarella cheese.
Top with ricotta cheese mixture, then provolone quarters, remaining noodles, remaining sauce meat mixture, remaining mozzarella.
Cover and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
Remove and let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
