Russian Tea Balls


  • 2 c butter, softened
  • 4 c all purpose flour
  • 4 c walnuts, chopped
  • 1 csugar
  • 4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt

How to Make Russian Tea Balls

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla til fluffy and light.
Mix together flour and salt, and add to creamed mixture. Stir in the nuts.
Shape into 1″ balls and place 1 1/2″ apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 20 min at 325 degrees.
Cool on cookie rack and then roll in powdered sugar.
